1. Definitions
"Company", "We", "Us" and "Our" means P & P Car & Camper Sales Ltd.
"Customer", "You" and "Your" means the purchaser of any vehicle, accessory, product or service supplied by the Company.
"Vehicle" means any motorhome, campervan, caravan, or related vehicle sold by the Company.
2. General
These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales of vehicles, accessories, parts and services supplied by the Company.
By placing an order or purchasing a vehicle from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer legislation.
3. Vehicle Orders and Reservations
3.1 A reservation fee or deposit may be required to secure a vehicle.
3.2 No vehicle shall be considered sold until a deposit has been received and accepted by the Company.
3.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse any order prior to acceptance.
3.4 Any estimated delivery or collection date is provided as a guide only and shall not constitute a contractual obligation.
4. Deposits
4.1 Deposits are taken to reserve a vehicle and remove it from sale.
4.2 If the Customer cancels the purchase after the Company has incurred preparation, inspection, servicing, valeting or administrative costs, the Company reserves the right to retain all or part of the deposit.
4.3 If the Company is unable to supply the vehicle, any deposit paid shall be refunded in full.
4.4 Any refund shall be made to the original payment method wherever possible.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 All advertised prices include VAT where applicable unless otherwise stated.
5.2 Full cleared funds must be received before the vehicle is released.
5.3 The Company accepts payment by bank transfer, debit card and other methods agreed in advance.
5.4 Ownership of the vehicle remains with the Company until payment has been received in full.
6. Part Exchange
6.1 Any part exchange valuation is based upon the information supplied by the Customer.
6.2 The Customer warrants that:
- They are the legal owner of the vehicle.
- Any outstanding finance has been disclosed.
- The vehicle description provided is accurate.
6.3 The Company reserves the right to amend a part exchange valuation where the vehicle condition materially differs from that described.
7. Vehicle ConditionUsed Vehicles
7.1 Used vehicles are sold taking into account age, mileage, previous ownership and normal wear and tear.
7.2 Customers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle thoroughly before collection.
7.3 Cosmetic imperfections consistent with age and mileage shall not be regarded as defects.
New Vehicles
7.4 New vehicles are supplied subject to manufacturer specifications and manufacturer warranty terms.
8. Vehicle Preparation and Handover
8.1 Vehicles may undergo servicing, habitation checks, safety inspections and preparation before collection.
8.2 The Customer shall be provided with an opportunity to inspect the vehicle upon collection.
8.3 Any concerns should be reported before leaving the premises where reasonably possible.
9. Warranty
9.1 Any warranty supplied by the Company is additional to and does not replace the Customer's statutory rights.
9.2 Warranty coverage is subject to separate warranty terms issued by the Company.
9.3 Warranty claims must be reported as soon as reasonably possible.
9.4 Warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage.
- Misuse or neglect.
- Lack of maintenance.
- Consumable items.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Unauthorised modifications.
- Third-party fitted accessories unless expressly agreed.(This warranty shall be VOID if the vehicle is to be used for Hire / Loan / lived in (full time habitation) purposes and is NOT transferrable.)
9.5 Customers must obtain authorisation before commencing repair work where warranty reimbursement is sought. The Company's published warranty conditions apply. (P and P Campers)
10. Consumer Rights
Nothing within these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any rights available under:
- The Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- Any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
- Where a vehicle fails to meet the standards required by law, Customers may be entitled to remedies including repair, replacement, price reduction or rejection in accordance with statutory rights.
11. Finance Purchases
11.1 Vehicle finance is subject to status and lender approval.
11.2 The finance agreement shall be separate from these Terms and Conditions.
11.3 If finance is declined, the Company may cancel the order and refund any deposit where appropriate.
12. Distance Sales
12.1 Where a vehicle is purchased entirely at a distance, additional rights may apply under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
12.2 Customers should contact the Company for full details before completing a distance purchase.
13. Collection and Delivery
13.1 Risk in the vehicle passes to the Customer upon collection or delivery.
13.2 Delivery dates are estimates only.
13.3 The Company shall not be liable for delays arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
14. Storage Charges
14.1 Vehicles not collected within seven days of notification may incur storage charges.
14.2 The Company will provide written notice before applying storage fees.
15. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer is responsible for:
- Ensuring the vehicle is adequately insured from the time risk passes.
- Maintaining the vehicle in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.Conducting regular safety checks.
- Protecting the vehicle from misuse, neglect or environmental damage.
16. Limitation of Liability
16.1 The Company's liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the vehicle except where prohibited by law.
16.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
17. Data Protection
Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.
- Customer information will only be used for legitimate business purposes including vehicle sales, servicing, warranty administration and legal obligations.

19. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
